Following a wild fire several year ago, most of Farm Close was destroyed. Over the years individual houses have been reconstructed. We are now in the process of completing the remaining units. So, its a new build scheme of 5 houses within an existing cul de sac. The project involves strip clearance and decontamination, followed by piled raft foundation solutions and traditionally built superstructures to match the surrounding properties. Modern technologies are being used in the form of air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, decentralised mechanical ventilation and stringent insulation criteria.
